No words flowed like rushing rivers carving a mountain side, writers block had overcome him.
“You’ve gotta punch another out, Gypsy life doesn’t cover itself,” his sister, Laney stated, sipping at her cappuccino.
“Says the girl who knows the future we face.”
“Harrison,” she grimaced. “You can’t look at it that way.”
“No?” Harrison narrowed his piercing blue eyes. “An unseelie with the means to control my kind starts hunting me? No way does that call for alarm, right?”
“Then let’s go…,” Laney cut off, leaving her brother awaiting her reply. “Get down.”
Laney picked up her cappuccino, dropped it into the trash, and calmly walked out. Harrison dropped his head behind his laptop, typing away, waiting for his sister’s cell call, giving him an excuse to stand and leave.
They were close to finding him again, close to ruining his life, and destroying all he had to live for. Harrison wasn’t just a traveling novelist, he was also half Fae. The Fae are a race of extremely powerful beings that come from a realm parallel to our own. He was bequeathed awesome abilities, however, so were all of his kind. One Fae in particular was given the ability to control over Fae with his blood and that same unknown Fae was sending the US government to chase after him.
This evil Fae had joined with world leaders to enslave all full and half breed Fae into an army by tricking governments into accepting his assistance. The FBI was hunting Harrison Hartford. Only they didn’t yet known he was Fae, only that Fae were in the area. At least, that was his hope.
“We are seeking a Harrison Hartford,” the main FBI agent said, holding up a badge. “And Laney Hartford.”
Harrison’s world came to a screeching halt.
Release TBA
